We add a new option in Trabber hotel search engine that allows to include all hostels offered by Trabber providers in your hotel search results.

To improve Trabber’s results in this type of accommodation, we have added Hostelworld as a provider. Hostelworld manages a database of more than 25,000 hotels in around 180 countries that from now on you will find in Trabber.

Note that it is always possible to display/filter other types of accommodations from the results page, simply by changing the filter “Property type:” located on the right side of the page.

You can now create your own user account in Trabber.

To create your account in Trabber you need not to register, as you can identify yourself in Trabber using your Facebook, Hotmail/Live, Google or Yahoo! account. This way you can access Trabber with just one click and need not to remember new passwords.

If you have no user on any of the above services, you can still create your local Trabber account simply by entering your email address.

The main advantages of having an Trabber user account are:

• It allows you to manage and mantain your flight alerts
• Store your private list of flights – ‘My shortlist’
• Access to all your previous searches

One of the most important factors to select a hotel, beside price and location, is possibly good reviews from other travelers.

Traveler reviews are now available directly from Trabber Hotels interface.

From now on, below the list of services of every hotel on Trabber Hotels results, you will find a new link – “reviews“. This link will display a list of ratings submitted by users from some of Trabber’s hotel providers. Additionally to user ratings, we display the number of reviews for each provider and a link that will redirect you to all travelers comments at the provider website.

We also have added for every hotel a link to Tripadvisor review page, as the site has currently become one of the references in this type of information.

We Integrate now all flight offered by Malaysian low cost airline Air Asia offered directly from the airline website – www.airasia.com in Trabber flight search engine.

Air Asia is among the most popular low cost airlines in Asia, delivering a highly competitive service very appreciated by travelers in the region.

AirAsia won the Skytrax World’s best low cost airline award in 2009 and 2010.

The airline operates numerous destinations in Asia and Oceania. It has also begun its international expansion operating flights from several airports in those regions connecting with Paris and London.

We develop this time a new feature for undecided travelers, a mashup of Google Maps and airfares deals stored in Trabber Offers, which surely will help Trabber users to decide where to travel.

From now on when you do a search in Trabber Offers without any city destination or selecting a country as the final destination, you will find now the link “Find offers in a map” on top of all airfares results that will display all airfares on a map.

The map is interactive, which basically means that when you scroll or zoom to different places, new offers will appear around the selected areas dynamically.

Take into account that the map will show only deals that fit your search criteria. For instance, if you have selected deal under $200 euros and departing of friday, just these offers will be shown.

Here are two examples:

• Best offers from Frankfurt departing on Saturday
• Best offers from Rome under $300

The color code is the same that we have used for Trabber Radar and intends to indicate the quality of the offers. So, the darker the color the higher the discount compared with the mean value.

We add a new provider to Trabber hotel search engine – Hotusa Hotels. With this integration, Trabber already provides results from 13 pages of online travel agencies and hotels brands.

Nowadays Hotusa Hotels gather more than 2000 hotels throughout 48 different countries and three Continents.

The latest update of Trabber flights search engine integrates all flights offered by XL Airways from the airline website.

XL Airways is a French airline based at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. The airline operates scheduled flights mainly in Europe and some long-haul destinations in North America and Africa.

Despite operating in many countries, the airline’s website is only available in French and German. Therefore, from all localized versions of Trabber except German, users will be redirected to the French version of the airline website.

Facebook and Twitter have already become a Web phenomena. To help Trabber users to share fares through these two popular social networks with friends and colleagues, we have added links that send Trabber results to Twitter and Facebook in just one click.

The links (as icons) are located on the right side of flight and hotel result pages.

Additionally, we have added a link to easily send results by email.

This time we integrate to Trabber’s flight search engine, the Portuguese flag carrier TAP Portugal – www.flytap.com.

TAP Portugal is the leading carrier in Portugal and member of Star Alliance, alliance led by airlines as important as Continental Airlines and Lufthansa among many others.

With its hub in Lisbon, the company currently flies to 58 intercontinental destinations throughout 27 countries in Africa and North and South America.

We integrate all flight information, collected by the lastest engine enhancement – Trabber Radar, into the Monthly view graph available on Trabber’s Flight Offers. This integration allows Trabber to have much more data to display monthly fare charts for the main routes.

As a next step, we are designing an algorithm to integrate the same flight information currently collected by Trabber Radar into Flight Offers’ results and the Email alert system.

We are confident that this new development will be very useful for travelers with flexible dates.
