Filter rental cars by driver age
9 June 2026We keep fine-tuning our search engine so you can compare more options and get better results. Here are our latest updates: a major improvement to the car rental comparison tool and new website integrations to give you even more choices.
Many car rental websites set a minimum (and/or maximum) age to book a vehicle. Because of this, not all cars shown in a search are available to everyone, and you often only find out at the very last step of the booking process.
To prevent this, we have added the driver’s age to our car search engine. You will see a new checkbox, “Driver between 30 and 65 years old,” ticked by default:
- If your age falls within that range (like most drivers), you do not need to do anything.
- If it does not, simply untick it and enter your exact age. From that moment on, we will only show you cars available for you, meaning no surprises at the end.
It is a minor change on the screen, but it saves time (and a few headaches), especially for those under 30 or over 65—the age brackets where rental companies impose the most restrictions.

Vrooem, more car rental options
We have also integrated Vrooem, a new car rental website. More sites in our comparison tool means a wider selection of vehicles to choose from and more opportunities to save money.
We keep improving
Our goal remains unchanged: making it easier, faster, and above all, cheaper for you to compare and book your trips with complete transparency and no sponsored results.
Can you think of any improvements or is there something you miss? Let us know—we read all your feedback.
