Trabber results page now supports filtering of the flights by several criteria: provider website, origin airport and destination airport.
You will find the filters in the right column of the results page. Just clicking in a checkbox hides the results of the corresponding company (or airport). And the opposite occurs when clicking on the link labeled only: just the flights from this provider or airport will be displayed.
We hope that this new feature will help you to find the best flights even faster.
During the last week Trabber has been on TV for two times.
This morning Trabber has been shown and discussed at NBC 4 News in New York. The mention occurred during the Sree Advice section which is a weekly tech segment that today focused on cheap airfare web sites.
And last Thursday, it was the online German TV Ehrensenf (Trabber is mentioned after 1 min and 40 secs). In addition this video was included in the online version of Der Spiegel, one of the leading European magazines.
Trabber has a new logo!
It has been created by Mike Rohde from MakaluMedia.
We have been working on it for several months, doing iterations from the black and white sketches to the final color logo. We are very pleased with the end result. Mike is really good at this. We first knew about him through a post that describes the process he follows for designing a logo, and then Eduardo confirmed Mike was the right person for the job.
So, what do you think about the new logo ?
We have just released a beta of Trabber for users from the States. Give it a try and let us know what you think about it: Trabber U.S. beta
Hope you find it useful if you are looking for cheap flights in the U.S. Trabber started in Spain some months ago followed by Germany. It has been very well received by users from both countries.
At the moment, Trabber US searches three major online agencies (Orbitz, Expedia and Priceline) and also all the airlines from Europe included in the Spanish and German versions (Iberia, Lufthansa, etc.).
From now on we will work on including American airlines to the list of providers.
We just added opodo.de to the companies in which Trabber Deutschland searches. With this addition, Trabber in Germany starts getting better coverage and is closer to going out of beta. It currently searches in 3 online agencies (Expedia and ebookers are the other ones).
You can now use Trabber in English. It is available both in Trabber España and Trabber Deutschland.
You will find language selection links at the top right corner of your browser.
Today we have deployed a new Trabber version with several changes, mainly in the UI area. These are the most significant ones:
As usual, let me know what you think about these changes. These days I am trying to close the interface (at least for a while) so that I can focus in adding new providers to the search engine.
I have created a support/discussion forum for Trabber users. The forum is addressed mainly to German users, since this is the only country where Trabber is available besides Spain.
We have just opened Trabber Deutschland. It is a beta site for the moment, but we hope you find it useful if you are looking for cheap flights in Germany.
Trabber looks for cheap flights in online travel agencies (in Germany we started for the moment with Expedia and ebookers), lowcost carriers (Germanwings, Ryanair, etc.) and also traditional airlines (Lufthansa, Iberia, …). You can see the full list of companies.
Neither Daniel nor I speak German so, if you find Trabber useful we count on you, german-speaking bloggers around the globe, to spread the word. Thanks in advance, and also thanks a lot to Julia for the translation.
